About the role#
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Intern to join our team in Durham. This is a part-time, rolling internship based on-site at our manufacturing facility. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our quality systems and working alongside our production teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry out and verify improvement projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support quality initiatives.
- Assist with investigations into customer complaints, production issues, and nonconforming materials.
- Help conduct root-cause analysis and support corrective or preventive action plans.
- Track and identify trends in scrap, defects, rework, and other key quality indicators.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software.
- Comfort working in both office and manufacturing environments.
- The ability to manage tasks independently and work well within a team.
