About the role#
Freudenberg Group is hiring an Engineering Co-Op for a rolling term in Plymouth, Michigan. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work directly with our engineering team to support research and development through hands-on testing and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Conduct engineering tests and experiments to support research and development.
- Operate mechanical testing, measurement, and metrology equipment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data for engineering evaluations.
- Troubleshoot testing equipment and resolve technical issues.
- Write technical reports and documentation that summarize test procedures and results.
- Collaborate with team members while managing multiple projects and priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for mechanical, chemical, materials, or a related engineering field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, tools, or testing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate data findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with others.
