About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work as a member of the engagement team during the Summer 2028 term. This role provides direct exposure to public accounting by working with clients ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies. You will work alongside seniors and managers to build professional skills and gain practical experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engagement leaders on client projects across various industries.
- Perform planning procedures, balance sheet and income statement testing, and audit reporting.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure deliverables stay on schedule.
- Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives for the department.
- Travel to client locations to perform on-site work.
- Receive ongoing coaching and feedback from firm professionals to support your development.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work closely with seniors and managers.
- Interest in public accounting and assurance services.
- Commitment to professional development and coaching.
