About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work as a member of the engagement team. You will gain hands-on experience in public accounting by working with a variety of clients. You will receive mentorship from performance managers and buddies to support your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engagement leaders, seniors, and managers on client engagements.
- Perform planning procedures, balance sheet and income statement testing, and audit reporting.
- Support ad hoc initiatives and department-wide special projects.
- Maintain engagement timelines and ensure timely deliverables.
- Communicate with clients and team members to keep projects on track.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field.
- A clear interest in public accounting practice.
- Ability to travel to client locations for on-site work.
- Strong communication skills for client and team interaction.
Location & details#
- Location: Huntsville, Alabama.
- Term: Spring 2028.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
