About the role#
This is a customer service position based at the North Fields Activity Center. Staff manage the daily operations of the boathouse and ensure students have a safe experience on the water. This role is open to Franklin Pierce University students, with Federal Work Study students encouraged to apply.
What you'll do#
- Handle the check in and check out process for all waterfront equipment.
- Provide students with boats, paddles, and life jackets.
- Enforce Raven Recreation and general water safety policies, including the use of life vests and fishing licenses.
- Keep the boathouse space clean and organize equipment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift kayaks and canoes.
- A firm approach to enforcing safety policies.
- Previous waterfront experience is helpful but not required.
- This role is open to students in majors such as Environmental Engineering, Real Estate, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, and Kinesiology.
Location & details#
- Location: Rindge, New Hampshire at the North Fields Activity Center.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, up to 19 hours per week.
- This is a paid, on-site, part-time position.
