About the role#
Forvis Mazars is looking for interns to join our Private Client practice for a 10-week paid program during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside senior wealth management advisors to support high-net worth families. This role provides a broad view of the wealth management industry and the chance to explore various functions within a Registered Investment Advisor firm, such as financial planning, portfolio management, and operations. You will also complete a capstone project and present your findings to the firm leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior advisors with client needs.
- Provide timely communication to both internal and external clients.
- Develop professional skills required for effective team collaboration.
- Gain practical experience to help determine your preferred career path.
- Work with a local program sponsor to guide your experience.
- Manage tasks independently and within a team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a financial planning degree program with a path toward CFP exam eligibility.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher in both your major and overall coursework.
- Solid technical knowledge in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
