Forum Asset Management is seeking Software Developer Interns to build data-driven applications that support decision-making across investment and real estate platforms. This role involves full-stack development, where you will create internal tools, APIs, and user-facing applications that transform complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with data engineers, investment professionals, and business teams to deliver software solutions.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools for the business.
- Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets.
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements for internal dashboards and tools.
- Assist in automating workflows and improving system efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language such as JavaScript or Java.
- Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with databases, including SQL or NoSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Experience with full-stack frameworks like React or Node.js, exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, and an interest in data-driven applications.
Location & details#
- Location: 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: Fall 2026 (4-month or 8-month duration).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site (5 days per week).
- Compensation: $900 CAD per week.
