About the role#
Flowserve is looking for an Engineering Intern to join the Leduc, Alberta repair center. This team focuses on the repair and upgrade of rotating equipment. You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
What you'll do#
- Generate repair scopes for rotating equipment.
- Interpret and modify technical drawings.
- Create quality assurance documents and inspection and test plans.
- Track progress on multiple repair or upgrade projects.
- Generate parts lists for projects.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects and project management tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program with at least one work term already completed.
- Availability to work full-time for a period of 8 to 12 months, starting in January 2026.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
- You must own your own steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
- Previous experience with rotating equipment or the petroleum industry is preferred.
