About the role#
The Personal Trainer Career Accelerator Program provides mentorship and hands-on experience for aspiring trainers. This program helps you build skills in a professional studio environment before you take on a full training role. You will move through phases of observation, administrative support, and active coaching to gain confidence.
What you'll do#
- Shadow experienced trainers to learn session flow and client interaction.
- Assist with studio operations including cleaning, admin tasks, and client check-ins.
- Co-lead programming such as warmups, cooldowns, and session segments.
- Conduct assessments and movement screens under supervision.
- Build your coaching skills through consistent practice and guidance.
What you'll need#
- You are a recent graduate, currently certified, or soon to be certified as a trainer.
- You have a strong interest in the fitness industry.
- You are ready to learn and take on studio tasks.
- You want hands-on experience in a professional setting.
- Academic background in Kinesiology, Nursing, Nutrition, Public Health, or Health Administration is relevant.
Location & details#
- Location: Avon, Connecticut.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- The program is paid for your contributions during the later phases.
- Enrollment is on a rolling basis.
