About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with our Transportation team to design roads, bridges, and other civil infrastructure for municipal clients and the Department of Transportation. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of civil infrastructure projects.
- Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
- Support staff engineers by performing calculations and preparing technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across different office locations.
- Participate in solving engineering challenges and managing project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer is helpful, though not required.
- Previous internship or DOT project experience is a plus.
