About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Municipal Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time position where you will contribute to real projects that improve infrastructure and public services for local municipalities. You will work alongside engineers across multiple offices and disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of water mains, sanitary sewers, and roadways.
- Perform design calculations and develop cost estimates.
- Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Participate in site visits to gather data and observe field conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is helpful but not required.
