About the role#
Fishbeck is looking for a Municipal Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship. You will work on infrastructure projects that serve local communities. This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of water mains, sanitary sewers, and roadways.
- Perform design calculations and develop cost estimates.
- Draft project plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Visit project sites to collect data and observe field conditions.
- Work with engineers across different offices and disciplines.
- Contribute to projects that improve public infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is helpful.

- Positions are available in Cincinnati, Ohio and Dayton, Ohio.
