About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Municipal Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Lansing, Michigan. You will work on infrastructure projects that support public services and local communities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of water mains, sanitary sewers, and roadways.
- Perform design calculations and create cost estimates.
- Draft project plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Visit project sites to collect data and observe field conditions.
- Work alongside engineers across different offices and disciplines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is helpful but not required.
