About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Land Development Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time position based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will work within our Land Development team to support the design and planning process for real project sites.
What you'll do#
- Research development sites, zoning requirements, and environmental factors.
- Assist the team with feasibility studies and due diligence reports.
- Collaborate on the creation of site plans and design layouts.
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft designs for active projects.
- Join site visits to see how designs function in the real world.
- Maintain project documentation and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous internship or field experience is helpful but not required.
