About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with project engineers to design, build, test, and validate prototype samples and project modules. The role is on-site in Perrysburg, Ohio. You will present your project summary and accomplishments to the leadership team at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, test, and validate prototype samples and project modules.
- Develop and execute new test methods and test structures.
- Present your work and project summary to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience working in a lab and workbench environment.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and fabrication.
- Proficiency with MS programs and JMP software.
- Practical experience with soldering.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Perrysburg, Ohio.
- Term: Winter 2027 (approximately January 15 through May 15).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Physical Requirements: You must be able to lift up to 58 pounds, stand or walk for up to 12 hours, and wear required personal protective equipment including safety glasses, respirators, and steel-toed shoes. This role requires the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green colors.
