About the role#
We are looking for a pre-med student to support our legal AI product team. You will review and synthesize medical literature relevant to personal injury and medical-legal case workflows. This internship provides hands-on experience in how medical knowledge translates into legal technology. It is a good fit for those considering a career at the intersection of medicine, data, and law.
What you'll do#
- Review medical literature, clinical studies, and treatment guidelines for personal injury, workers comp, or medical malpractice cases.
- Summarize findings into clear, structured briefs for our product and engineering teams.
- Validate medical terminology, diagnosis codes, and treatment pathways used in AI training data.
- Work with product managers to ensure medical accuracy in AI-generated outputs.
- Flag literature gaps or emerging research relevant to case evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a pre-med undergraduate degree, preferably as a junior or senior, or a recent graduate taking a gap year.
- A strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to read and interpret clinical studies.
- Excellent written communication and summarization skills.
- High attention to detail and strong research instincts.
- An interest in legal tech, legal AI, healthcare data, or other AI-forward industries is a plus.
- Relevant majors include Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Health Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Psychology, or Political Science.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, full-time, paid internship.
- The internship term is rolling.
- Compensation starts at $20 per hour, with total pay determined by individual qualifications, location, and experience.
