About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the Audit, Risk, and Compliance groups at Fidelity. You will help protect our customers, associates, and the firm by identifying potential issues and maintaining ethical standards. Interns work within areas such as Corporate Audit, IT Audit, Enterprise Risk, Technology Risk, Enterprise Compliance, and Fidelity Global Security. This is a full-time, paid, 10-week program.
What you'll do#
- Participate in audit planning, data analysis, testing, and documenting findings for management.
- Manage the regulatory and operational aspects of financial risk.
- Monitor accounts for suspicious activity and investigate potential financial crimes.
- Review policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with security professionals to maintain a safe environment for Fidelity associates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student with plans to return to coursework after the summer.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A desire to understand business operations and risk management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
