About the role#
As a Branch Intern, you will work directly with financial professionals at a Fidelity Investor Center. This 10-week summer program offers exposure to personal investing and financial planning. You will join the FIDTERN program, which includes coaching, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with other interns and professionals. This is a full-time, on-site position running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with investment products and services.
- Participate in work assignments to build your knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Develop business, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborate with team members to solve business challenges.
- Identify process improvements and support business-critical initiatives.
- Attend professional development programs, networking events, and learning sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior in an undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- Leadership experience through student organizations.
- A basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- Ability to promote customer loyalty and provide a positive client experience.
- Professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Interest in the fields of investing and wealth management.
