About the role#
As a Branch Intern, you will work at a Fidelity Investor Center alongside financial professionals. This full-time, 10-week summer internship provides exposure to personal investing and financial planning. You will join the FIDTERN program, which includes professional development, networking, and mentorship to help you grow your understanding of the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with a range of investment products.
- Collaborate with team members to solve business challenges.
- Identify ways to improve current processes.
- Support business-critical initiatives and branch projects.
- Develop your communication and relationship-building skills.
- Contribute your own ideas to support client and business outcomes.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior in an undergraduate program, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- You have an interest in investing and wealth management.
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- Leadership experience through student organizations.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to solve problems collaboratively.
- A basic understanding of the current market, the economy, and economic trends.
- The ability to promote customer loyalty and provide a positive experience.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in The Woodlands, Texas.
- The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
