About the role#
As a Branch Intern, you will work directly with financial professionals at a Fidelity Investor Center. This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while contributing to business-critical initiatives. This role is based on-site at the Investor Center.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist clients with investment products and services.
- Collaborate with your team to solve business challenges and identify ways to improve processes.
- Participate in significant work assignments to strengthen your knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Join professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities through the FIDTERN program.
- Build skills in communication and relationship management.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior in an undergraduate program, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- You have an interest in investing and wealth management.
- You bring experience from customer service, retail, sales, or banking roles.
- You have leadership experience through involvement in student organizations.
- You possess a professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- You have a basic understanding of the current market, the economy, and economic trends.
- You have the ability to promote customer loyalty.

- Location: Reston, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 to $32 per hour.
