About the role#
As a Branch Intern at a Fidelity Investor Center, you will work alongside financial professionals to support the client experience. This 10-week summer internship offers exposure to personal investing and financial planning. You will join the FIDTERN program, which includes coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with investment products and services.
- Participate in work assignments to build knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Develop communication, business, and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborate with team members to address business challenges and suggest process improvements.
- Support business-critical initiatives and contribute to branch goals.
- Engage in networking events and professional learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student in your junior year of college.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Interest in investing and wealth management.
- Experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- Leadership experience through student organizations.
- Professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- Ability to promote customer loyalty.
