About the role#
As an intern at the Investor Center, you will support the client experience by working alongside financial professionals. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while building business, communication, and relationship-building skills. This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience through the FIDTERN program.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Assist with a broad range of investment products and services.
- Participate in significant work assignments to strengthen your industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to address business challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support business-critical initiatives.
- Join professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student in your junior year.
- You have an interest in investing and wealth management.
- You possess experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- You have leadership experience and involvement in student organizations.
- You demonstrate a professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- You have a basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- You have the ability to promote customer loyalty.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics are preferred.

- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027).
- Modality: This position is 100% on-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time internship.
