About the role#
As a Branch Intern at a Fidelity Investor Center, you work alongside financial professionals to support the client experience. This 10-week, full-time summer internship offers exposure to personal investing and financial planning. You will participate in the FIDTERN Program, which provides hands-on experience, coaching, and mentorship to help you grow your understanding of the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with investment products and services.
- Take on work assignments to build your knowledge of financial services.
- Develop skills in business, communication, and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with your team to address business challenges and identify process improvements.
- Participate in professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior in an undergraduate degree program, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Interest in investing and wealth management.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- Leadership experience through student organizations.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to solve problems collaboratively.
- A basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- The ability to promote customer loyalty and provide a positive experience.

- Location: Annapolis, Maryland.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with a salary range of $20 to $32 per hour.
