About the role#
As a Branch Intern at a Fidelity Investor Center, you will work directly with financial professionals to support the client experience. This 10-week, full-time summer program offers exposure to personal investing and financial planning. You will participate in the FIDTERN Program, which includes coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. This role is based on-site in Albany, New York, from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with investment products and services.
- Take on work assignments to build knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Develop skills in communication, business, and relationship building.
- Collaborate with team members to address business challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Contribute ideas and support branch initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student in your junior year.
- Interest in wealth management and investing.
- Experience in sales, banking, retail, or customer service.
- Leadership experience in student organizations.
- Professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of the economy, current markets, and economic trends.
- Ability to build customer loyalty while providing service.

- Compensation: $20 to $32 per hour.
