About the role#
As a Branch Intern, you will work directly with financial professionals at a Fidelity Investor Center. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while building professional skills. This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship running from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will be fully integrated into the team and encouraged to contribute ideas and support branch initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Assist with a broad range of investment products and services.
- Participate in significant work assignments to strengthen your knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Collaborate with team members to address business challenges and identify process improvements.
- Support business-critical initiatives.
- Participate in professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior in an undergraduate program, with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- An interest in investing and wealth management.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- Leadership experience and involvement in student organizations.
- A professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- A basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- The ability to promote customer loyalty while providing an outstanding customer experience.

- This position is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- The role is 100% on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
