About the role#
As a Branch Intern at a Fidelity Investor Center, you will work directly with financial professionals to support the client experience. This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while contributing to business-critical initiatives through the FIDTERN program.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist with a broad range of investment products and services.
- Participate in work assignments designed to strengthen your knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Develop business, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborate with your team to address business challenges and identify process improvements.
- Participate in professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities.
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentorship from managers and branch professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in your junior year.
- Interest in investing and wealth management.
- Experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- Leadership experience through involvement in student organizations.
- Professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- A basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- Ability to promote customer loyalty and provide an outstanding client experience.
