About the role#
As a Branch Intern, you will work at a Fidelity Investor Center alongside financial professionals. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while contributing to the daily operations of the branch. This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship. You will participate in the FIDTERN Program, which includes coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with investment products and services.
- Complete work assignments designed to build your knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Develop skills in business communication and relationship building.
- Collaborate with team members to solve business challenges and identify process improvements.
- Support business-critical initiatives and participate in networking events.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior in an undergraduate program.
- Majors in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration are preferred.
- Experience in banking, retail, sales, or customer service.
- Leadership experience through student organizations.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to solve problems collaboratively.
- A basic understanding of the economy, current market, and economic trends.
- A focus on promoting customer loyalty.

- This role is located in Midlothian, Virginia.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- The internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
