About the role#
The Sales Internship Program offers a 10-week paid summer experience designed to show how customer partnerships are built from the ground up. You will gain hands-on experience in a local branch, working alongside experienced sales and operations leaders to understand how the business functions. This program focuses on developing your skills in customer service, sales processes, and relationship management while exposing you to the company culture and potential future career paths.
What you'll do#
- Build skills in customer service, product knowledge, and sales processes.
- Rotate through the warehouse, counter, inside sales, outside sales, and branch operations to understand how each area contributes to the customer experience.
- Work directly with experienced sales, operations, and branch leaders.
- Participate in leadership and sales development experiences.
- Complete a sales-focused project to solve a real business challenge and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in business, marketing, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field.
- Rising junior or senior student status.
- Availability to work 10 consecutive weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Locations include Sacramento, CA; Nashville, TN; Nampa and Meridian, ID; Phoenix, AZ; Mansfield and Euless, TX; Lenexa, KS; Pomona and Santa Ana, CA; Halethorpe, MD; La Porte, TX; Charlotte, NC; Oak Brook, Addison, and West Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL; and Chantilly, VA.
- The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
