About the role#
As an Industrial Engineer Intern, you will join the Operations Team to support the development of process standards. You will analyze improvement opportunities and apply lean methodology to boost safety, quality, and productivity.
What you'll do#
- Perform lean manufacturing techniques and studies, including 5S, root cause analysis, and cellular flow.
- Study operations processes to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Conduct observations and provide feedback on process improvements.
- Drive the development of accurate cycle time standards.
- Develop and update operations work instructions.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of college in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, with two years preferred.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, statistical analysis, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Minitab is preferred.
- Ability to work well with others and adapt to changes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
