About the role#
This internship offers exposure to the defense market while building skills in project management, research, and stakeholder engagement. You will work in a mission-driven environment focused on your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with early-stage companies in defense and national security programs.
- Research and identify startups, mentors, and resources.
- Coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources for project managers.
- Create content and conduct outreach for program needs.
- Assist with professional development engagements and build relationships with stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program with a 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
- Interest in technology and defense innovation.
- Strong writing skills and comfort talking with new people.
- Ability to learn new software and AI tools quickly.
- Reliability and organizational skills for meeting deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Arlington, Virginia (on-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Pay: $25 per hour.
- Employment: Part-time, W2 position.
- Work authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
