The 2026 Fall Digital Transformation Internship at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas offers an opportunity to learn how a wholesale bank functions, including the mechanics of loans, collateral, and the bank's influence on the mortgage lending business. This is a paid, full-time position based in Irving, Texas, for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with data-driven activities that impact financial operational processes.
- Build, automate, and support data reports, metrics, and analytics.
- Collect, analyze, and develop reports for various departments, including dashboards and monitoring for credit, collateral, and operational risks.
- Collaborate with business units to understand bank processes.
- Solve problems to simplify workflows, minimize errors, and improve the effectiveness of controls through technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Students in technical fields should have completed coursework in economics or finance; students in finance or economics should have completed computer-related coursework.
- Demonstrated passion for using technology to solve problems.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets and the ability to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA (or other object-oriented programming languages), and SSRS report builder.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings to management.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Hours: 29 hours per week, with flexibility based on class schedule and availability.
