About the role#
This internship provides experience with the Market Risk Earnings Analysis team at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. You will work on projects that influence the bank's risk management and strategic planning. This is a full-time, on-site role for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze metrics and create reports to support risk management and strategic planning.
- Automate reporting processes using RPA or other software tools.
- Gain exposure to various asset classes.
- Create structured documentation for internal processes.
- Perform analysis on ad hoc projects, including climate risk.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
- Curiosity about financial markets and risk management.
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, and Python is preferred.

- Compensation: $38,800 to $58,100 per year.
