About the role#
As a Brand Associate student, you will support the Brand Planning and Advertising team at FCC. You will help deliver brand programs, coordinate advertising initiatives, and contribute to projects that maintain a consistent brand identity. This role offers exposure to brand management, in-house agency operations, media strategy, and corporate communications. You will support work that impacts employees, customers, and the Canadian agriculture and food industry.
What you'll do#
- Support the delivery of brand programs, such as employee clothing, merchandise, and branded office experiences.
- Maintain core brand materials including stationery, business cards, email signatures, and trade show assets.
- Assist with advertising and campaign coordination by tracking timelines, deliverables, and project status.
- Organize campaign and channel results to support reporting and impact measurement.
- Monitor brand and merchandise requests while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare research summaries and presentations regarding brand strategy, marketing trends, and program initiatives.
- Maintain records, tracking documents, and program resources to support team operations.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure brand standards are communicated and understood.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in business administration, commerce, marketing, or a related field.
- A strong interest in marketing, branding, advertising, communications, or customer experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Previous experience through coursework, internships, co-op placements, or student organizations related to marketing or brand management is an asset.
- Familiarity with advertising, marketing operations, or project coordination.
- Experience conducting research or maintaining tracking systems.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
