About the role#
Farmers Win Cooperative is hiring an Agronomy Intern to join our team in Ridgeway, Iowa. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Inspect grower fields to identify weeds, insects, diseases, and pest counts.
- Document crop and weed staging as well as diagnostic issues.
- Use scouting software and weekly reports to share findings with our field agronomists.
- Stay informed on current agronomic products, industry trends, and precision technology.
- Assist operations and warehouse staff with various tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an associate or bachelor degree, preferably in agriculture.
- You pay close attention to detail and can work well without direct supervision.
- You can lift, move, and carry boxes and tools weighing 50-60 lbs.
- You are comfortable operating farm equipment and walking on uneven ground.
- You have a valid, unrestricted driver license.
- You are available to work extended hours during peak seasons.
