About the role#
Farm Bureau Financial Services is hiring an Insurance Claims Intern for the summer of 2027. This position offers exposure to the insurance industry through project-based assignments and corporate activities. You will gain experience in claims processing while learning about our business operations and culture. There is potential for this role to extend into the fall semester.
What you'll do#
- Review, evaluate, and analyze documentation for auto and property claims.
- Perform various tasks related to the claims process.
- Complete project-based assignments within your department.
- Network with employees across different areas of the organization.
- Participate in shared internship experiences to learn about our leadership and culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- Preferred majors include agriculture, business, collision repair, or insurance.
- Ability to learn quickly and understand auto and property insurance policies.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A team-focused mindset.
- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours.
