About the role#
This co-op position is a member of the Canadian marketing team, focusing on growing FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino in Ontario and Alberta through public relations. You will collaborate with the broader marketing team, including media, brand, content, and growth, as well as cross-functional stakeholders in business operations, commercial, product, and analytics.
What you'll do#
- Support the communications team with crafting messaging, public relations strategies, and strategic communications.
- Assist with the preparation of internal communications materials, such as company town halls, executive communications, and internal messaging.
- Research industry trends and monitor competitor and industry media activity.
- Support the organization and planning of office events to strengthen company culture.
- Prepare marketing materials for internal and external presentations.
- Assist with organizing marketing team meetings and operations.
- Provide support to various teams within the marketing department as required.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a degree in marketing, business, sports, communications, or political science with a strong GPA.
- Very strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt writing styles to fit different audiences.
