About the role#
Family Connections, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruiting team. This role provides practical experience in full-cycle recruiting, including candidate communication, interview coordination, and administrative support. You will work with our Applicant Tracking System and assist in managing hiring workflows.
What you'll do#
- Assist with candidate communications throughout the recruiting process.
- Monitor and respond to recruiting-related emails using provided templates.
- Review applications and organize candidate information within our recruiting platform.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant statuses in the ATS.
- Conduct basic candidate searches and recruitment research as assigned.
- Provide administrative support for recruiting projects, reports, and onboarding initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- At least two years of experience in customer service, office support, or administrative roles.
- Strong written communication skills and professional email etiquette.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and follow through on assignments.
- Comfort learning and navigating online platforms and new technology.
- An interest in Human Resources, business, or professional services.
Location & details#
- This is an unpaid, part-time internship.
- The role is hybrid, based in New Jersey. While much of the work is remote, you must be able to travel to the office for an initial training period and periodic meetings.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration or Human Resources.
- This position follows a rolling term.
