About the role#
This temporary role functions as either an HR/Payroll Assistant or an HR Intern. You will support the HR team by maintaining data integrity and generating reports. The position lasts for approximately four months, running through January 2027. You may work between 20 and 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform ongoing data input within HRIS and LMS systems, including status changes, employee demographics, and wage theft notices.
- Partner with the HR and Payroll team to complete internal audits and ensure data accuracy.
- Handle employment verifications and inquiries from employees, case managers, and guardians.
- Complete, verify, and maintain I-9 forms and documentation for team members and persons served.
- Assist the team with additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- A two-year degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least two years of recent experience with primary responsibility for data and systems.
- Strong analytical, MS Excel, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials with discretion.
- Compliance with Rule 11 and a Rise MVR background check.
- Ability to pass pre-employment job testing.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Fridley, Minnesota.
- You will work from the Rise Admin Office every other Monday and as needed.
- The role is paid at a rate of $17.86 to $18.91 per hour, depending on qualifications.
- Work hours occur during the day, with no requirements for evenings, weekends, or major holidays.
