About the role#
Jovie is hiring an undergraduate student for a paid, part-time internship focused on Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. This role involves building our talent pipeline while gaining experience in campus recruiting, candidate sourcing, and employment branding. You will work on recruiting campaigns and track metrics like applications, interviews, and hires. Because our business is childcare, you will also work as a Jovie caregiver or sitter to understand the employee experience firsthand.
What you'll do#
- Source and engage prospective candidates including students and recent graduates.
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, text, and in-person interactions.
- Build relationships with academic departments, faculty, and student organizations.
- Represent Jovie at career fairs and campus recruiting events.
- Support employee referral programs and recruiting initiatives.
- Work as a Jovie caregiver or sitter, with potential opportunities to serve as a Lead Caregiver for Event Care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student.
- Interest in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.
- Confidence communicating with new people across multiple formats.
- Dependable and organized work habits with a focus on follow-up.
- Comfort working with children.
- Availability for some evening and weekend childcare or Event Care assignments.
