    About the role#

    The Talent and Culture Intern supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, and project planning. You will work directly with the Talent and Culture team to manage personnel records and assist with agency initiatives.

    What you'll do#

    • Support recruitment activities and events.
    • Review resumes in ADP to identify qualified candidates for open roles.
    • Conduct initial phone prescreens with applicants.
    • Help the team facilitate new employee orientation.
    • Maintain and update employee personnel files.
    • Enter training data into the SharePoint database.
    • Participate in team work sessions.
    • Partner with the Director of Organization and Talent Development to evaluate the internship program.
    • Handle administrative tasks like filing documents and answering phone calls.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Business Administration or Human Resources degree program (Associate or Bachelor level preferred).
    • Strong written, oral, and interactive communication skills.
    • Effective research tactics and organizational skills.
    • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
    • Professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external contacts.
    • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and recruitment best practices is preferred.
