About the role#
Family Connections, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruiting operations. This position provides practical exposure to the daily functions of a talent team, including candidate engagement, interview coordination, and recruitment workflow management. This is an unpaid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with candidate communications throughout the recruiting process.
- Monitor and respond to recruiting emails using provided guidance and templates.
- Review applications and organize candidate information within our applicant tracking system.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant statuses.
- Post and maintain open job listings.
- Conduct basic candidate searches and recruitment research.
- Provide administrative support for recruiting projects, reports, and hiring initiatives.
- Communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Follow established processes and escalate questions when necessary.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- At least two years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a similar office environment.
- Strong written communication skills and professional email etiquette.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently after receiving training.
- Skill in managing deadlines and prioritizing assignments.
- Comfort learning and navigating online platforms and technology.
- Strong judgment when handling confidential information.
- A positive, service-oriented approach.
- An interest in recruiting, Human Resources, business, or professional services.
Location & details#
- This role is hybrid and remote, based in New Jersey.
- While the role is remote, you must be able to travel to the office for a training period and periodic meetings.
- Preferred hours are 8am to 11am or 9am to 12pm.
- This is a part-time, unpaid internship with a rolling term.
