About the role#
F.H. Paschen offers a summer internship program for students pursuing degrees in construction and related fields. This role prepares you for a career in Construction Project Management by working directly with a project team. You will gain hands-on experience in phases ranging from pre-construction to project closeout.
What you'll do#
- Perform quantity takeoffs and maintain material logs.
- Prepare project reports and handle correspondence.
- Review shop drawings and submittals to determine their suitability.
- Track the status of change orders and Requests for Information.
- Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts.
- Assist with blueprint reading and close-out documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction technology, including Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with computer applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling is preferred.

- Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour.
