About the role#
F.H. Paschen offers a summer internship program for students pursuing degrees in the built environment. This role prepares you for a career in Construction Project Management by placing you with a project team. You will gain hands-on experience through tasks ranging from pre-construction to project closeout.
What you'll do#
- Perform quantity takeoffs and maintain material logs.
- Draft project reports and handle project correspondence.
- Review shop drawings and submittals to determine suitability.
- Track the status of change orders and Requests for Information.
- Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts.
- Assist with blueprint reading and close out documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related major.
- Familiarity with construction technology including Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling software is preferred.

- Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour.
