About the role#
As a Projects Engineering Intern, you will work within the Global Projects department. This role offers exposure to various technical areas including project management, process engineering, and safety. You will contribute to the development and execution of energy projects while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in site safety programs and support the implementation of the Project Safety Plan.
- Assist in developing the Project Plan, SSH&E Plan, and contracting or procurement strategies.
- Support cost, schedule, and controls deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor and appraise contractor execution against plans and specifications to close performance gaps.
- Track project, functional, and business discipline support activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Civil, or Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or similar programs.
- Available for a work term beginning in January or May 2027.
- Must be returning to full-time studies after the work term.
- Ability to submit your most recent unofficial transcript with your application.
