About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for students pursuing engineering degrees. You will join the Product Solutions department in Nanticoke, Ontario, to support refinery operations. You will work alongside integrated teams to maintain safe and efficient unit performance while contributing to long-term operational initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with operations, reliability, and automation engineers to support safe and reliable unit operation.
- Identify, develop, and implement operational and facility improvements focusing on safety, reliability, economics, and sustainability.
- Communicate the status of unit operations, improvement opportunities, and operating costs to stakeholders.
- Support routine energy, environmental, and cost reporting.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for refinery equipment based on codes, industry and company standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Environmental Engineering from a Canadian Accredited University.
- Must be enrolled in a university program and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
- Available for a work term beginning in January or May 2027.
- A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
