About the role#
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will support the development and maintenance of analytics tools and processes that inform project siting decisions and customer acquisition strategies. You will work primarily with the Data Science team while collaborating across Business Development, Real Estate, and Operations departments to enable data-driven decision-making across various markets.
What you'll do#
- Assist with data pipelines, transformations, and data preparation for integration with backend infrastructure and tools.
- Develop Python and SQL scripts for data analysis, automation, and analytical workflows.
- Query SQL databases and leverage GIS tools to support business analytics and reporting.
- Document analytical workflows, processes, data definitions, and research clearly.
- Assist with LLM and AI initiatives to improve end-user experiences.
- Create niche data products to support internal team objectives.
- Communicate key insights, methodologies, and findings to internal teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, GIS, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with GIS software and techniques, such as CARTO, ArcGIS, or QGIS.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
