About the role#
Etegent Technologies is hiring a Software Development Co-Op to work with our machine learning group. You will help maintain and build AI and machine learning tools used across various research projects. This role is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Beavercreek, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Write new functionality to support machine learning projects.
- Create and implement unit tests for existing code using pytest.
- Assist with DevOps tasks, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Produce clear documentation for both developers and end users.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Exposure to data structures and program design.
- Comfort working in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with Python.
- Familiarity with fundamental machine learning concepts.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems in a collaborative setting.
