About the role#
This rotational internship program provides hands-on experience in the hospitality and live entertainment industry. You will spend time across four unique venues in downtown Erie. This is a paid, full-time commitment spanning two semesters, running from September 2026 through May 2027.
What you'll do#
You will rotate through various business areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of event operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Rotate through Box Office, Food & Beverage, Operations, Event Coordinating, and Security.
- Assist food and beverage management with event setup, reporting, and employee scheduling.
- Support box office operations, including sales, show builds, and promoter settlements.
- Conduct research related to safety, security, emergency preparedness, and risk management.
- Participate in client site visits, contract preparation, and sales prospecting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior at a university.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- A strong desire to learn and professional drive.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
