    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the IT Individual Systems team to support high-quality application delivery for our Individual Insurance line of business. This role is hybrid, requiring you to work from our Waterloo office for a minimum of two consecutive days every other week, plus one additional day per month.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in furthering our automated test suite for API and web applications.
    • Build automated tests and configure them to execute in CI/CD pipelines.
    • Create and maintain a reusable set of automated tests.
    • Troubleshoot common script execution issues.
    • Participate in functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a formal post-secondary co-op program (proof of enrollment is required).
    • Knowledge of testing software and Software QA terminology.
    • Experience with Selenium for test automation.
    • Experience reading and writing JavaScript code.
    • Knowledge of API testing tools.
    • Knowledge of or experience with GIT.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
