About the role#
We are looking for a Co-op Student to join the IT Infrastructure team. This role focuses on providing first-level support for IT incidents and requests. You will help maintain our production, pre-production, and disaster recovery environments while ensuring high-quality service for our employees.
What you'll do#
- Deploy and recover computers and other peripherals.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding requests while keeping track of equipment inventory.
- Provide on-site first-level support for incidents and service requests.
- Monitor and alert the team on key service-impacting situations.
- Identify ways to improve and automate Service Desk processes and operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a formal co-op component.
- A degree or diploma in a Computer Science program.
- Working knowledge of Windows 11.
- Familiarity with desktop and laptop hardware technologies.
- Understanding of ITIL service management processes.
Location & details#
- Location: Waterloo, Ontario.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum of ten days per month in the office).
- Terms available: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
